Teaching
I approach teaching as a generative practice that simultaneously benefits from and contributes to my research expertise and civic engagement activities. My research agenda itself is designed to keep me connected to media work within evolving industries and institutions so that I can best prepare my students for their future careers.
During previous appointments, I have explored the workings of popular culture, journalism, and the media industries with my students. I have also guided them through various ethical and technical dilemmas as they honed their storytelling and media production skills.
